Best tire pressure gauge out there really works

Accurate and well-made!

Until I got this, I was laboring with a cheap pressure gauge and a coiled compressor hose that seemed to have a poor connection to the valve stem. It was painful to (A) fill the tires of my golf cart and (B) get a good read on the pressure. This digital tire pressure gauge solves both issues perfectly. First, the hose that comes with the device clamps onto the valve stem very securely. No hissing air sound. Second, the digital readout tells me when I’m at 20 pounds, to the tenth of a pound. It works beautifully.

What I’m not clear on is how it all connects to the compressor. It seems as though I might have an older compressor with a female threaded connection. This means an adaptor is used. See photo 2. This works fine nonetheless.

Seems to be proffessional quality and should be very usefull at home.

With the fridgid tempratures, I have not been able to try my new AstroAl tire pressure out properly. But I did try it out on a spare handtruck wheel and I can see it is sensitive to pressure changes because the inner tube had a hole which I patched, but then the valve stem was leaking where it attaches to the tube, which is not repairable. So, at this time I will say the gauge seems to be very good and I will write a better review in the future.

Accurate air pressure measures.

This Astro inflator gauge makes my airing of grandkids bikes and cars a breeze! Clip the gauge into the valve stem, turn on the Astro and start airing the tire up. Everytime you let pressure off the handle, the pounds of pressure in the tire reads on the gauge. So much easier than putting air in, getting a tire pressure gauge reading the measurement, putting more air in and on and on until you have the right pounds of air pressure. Customer service is exceptionally prompt, responsive and WAY above average!

Very happy with this air gauge. It does a great job esp. with all the acc's that comes with it, even for my motorcycle which can be tough to get to. Very pleased.

Mechanic, working on freightliner car haulers ever days. Constantly checking tire pressures for outgoing drivers. This gauge not only locks strongly onto the stem, it inflates QUICKLY. I love the little flashlight too. I did accidentally leave it out the other day and it got frosted on, then rained on, still works!!!!!!! Gauge is well made, bright and easily legible. Better than my old blueprint gauge !
