Undeniably fact of life, car batteries eventually stop working. And its never at a convenient time. I think everyone should have one of these in their car. This block is a little bigger than most, to me that's a plus because it will jump start just about any car or truck battery. It also comes with some nice attachments so you can use it around the house in the event of a power outage. Will charge things like phones or any USB powered devices. The carrying case is well built and makes it convenient to keep in the trunk with the all the accessories. I highly recommend this jump starter.

Small but mighty

My daughter was given a car that belonged to a deceased relative. The car had been sitting in a barn for at least four years and would not start, so I had it towed by AAA to my property. When this car battery jumper showed up in my feed, I ordered it. You want to make sure it is charged at 100% when jump-starting a dead battery, and when jumping a battery you suspect is completely depleted, you press the boost button. I connected the unit to the battery, and after a few tries, the car started. This battery starter is small but mighty. It also comes with a fabric case for storage.

So far this thing has worked well. It jump starts my old truck without a problem and it feels like it's well made. A lot of jump backs feel cheap but this one doesnt

If this really has the stated capacity, its a lot of power! I have no reason to doubt other than todays advertising claims. I will claim it to be a beast! Jumped 2 pick ups and a v6 Jeep and it still showed 3/4 charge! Everyone should carry one of these! Plus the added convenience of phone charging can be a life saver (even mind saver lol) during power outages and emergencies, which is often the time ya forget to charge your phone. Yup lifes always ready to throw curve balls, its great to have the equipment to swing and hit em outta the park!

Peace of mind

I have this as part of my trunk emergency kit. This along with the air pressure pump fits the emergency kit. I can't tell you how handy this would have been over the years where you find yourself with a dead battery. Less so these days but you just never know. It brings me some comfort knowing that in the event of a battery failure (on my part or someone else) that I have the ability to boot the vehicle. As of yet I've had no opportunity to actually use the booster - certainly not hooking it up for fun so it'll have to wait until the event finally happens. I've used it though for charging up phones and will use in a power outage situation as a big power bank. Be sure to check it every once in a while for full chrage , easy to forget in the car. A must for any emergency kit.
