The hooks are made of plastic, not metal, and there are no magnets that could scratch your car's paint. It’s gentle on the exterior while giving complete protection. I use this every day for my Tesla, and it has been a game-changer. Direct sunlight used to cause heat issues that could affect the front camera and interior electronics. Before using this cover, the inside temperature reached up to 140°F when it was 95°F outside. Now, even on a 95°F day, the interior stays around 95°F—matching the outside temperature! Despite the fabric not being overly thick, its heat protection is impressive. It’s lightweight, affordable, waterproof, and great for both summer heat and winter conditions. The cover worked perfectly for a major snow storm we just had on east coast. Fits nice for suv and gave great coverage. Materials and clips seem like they should last. After removing snow from top of car I peeled this off and windshield was spotless. Awesome product for price. Very easy to use.
