Great, compact, relatively quiet, cost effective air compressor

I bought six of these things as Christmas stocking stuffers for my grown kids, spouses and myself. The unit works great and is really simple to use. I like to carry one with me when I travel by air, but rent a car at my destination, as I often have tire issues with rental cars. Of course, we carry it with us on our road trips in our own cars.

Using the unit is pretty intuitive. There are several modes from which to select, like auto, sport (e.g., basketballs), etc. Once you select your mode, then you can select the pressure you wish to achieve. Turn on the unit and in fairly short order, the unit automatically stops when that level of pressure is met. Checking the final pressure against my digital air gauge has shown the unit's air pressure reading is true.

The unit comes with a short (about 10") hose with the clamp on valve for car and bike tires, along with a needle for sports balls, and a couple of cone shaped nozzles for air mattresses and the like. My only complaint about the unit is that the needle for sports balls is rather weak, breaking the first time I tried to inject it into a basketball. I replaced it with one bought from a sporting goods store. That's minor, though, compared to how much I like this thing for my primary purpose, and that is on car tires.

Portability-power

Fantastic! Very portable, yet with more than adequate power! Noticed this model was highly rated. It’s slightly bulky, but is better than carrying around a tank,or corded unit.

Ease of use and accuracy

Excellent tool! I repair bicycles as a hobby so it gets used often and works awesome. Very accurate because I have checked against my digital tire gauge and it’s right on. First time I get my boat out for the season, tires are always low. The Astro worked great on car/boat trailer tires as well. This is the first time I’ve written a review on anything because I am that pleased.

Works Well

I got the AstroAI L4 to be able to maintain the air pressure in our automobile tires. My wife's car recently had a tire leak due to a screw in the tire. After repairing the tire I was able to inflate the tire to the proper pressure level within a couple of minutes. Also checked all the other tires (her vehicle and mine) and brought them up to the desired pressure level within 10-15 minutes. Nice compact product that is easy to operate.

I love this tool. It fits nicely in my E-Bike back bag and doesn't weight a ton. It is easy to use and works as advertised. The compressor stops when the desired threshold is reached.

Works awesome!

Portability is awesome! Fills tires faster than I thought. First use was 4 golf cart tires, 2 small footballs, and 2 utility cart tires. All were low so it was a good test. It is easy to use and love the digital readout is awesome!
