Must have when used car shopping

A paint thickness gauge is a must have along with a magnet in a cloth when used car shopping. The paint gauge can tell you what areas have been repainted since factory new and a magnet over a suspected area can tell you if Bondo filler is present hiding a dent repair. This unit is easy to use and has reasonable battery life. I found it to be fairly accurate, and it was good value for money spent. You will often see used car evaluators at dealerships with one of these to inspect your trade in or car you want to sell them. Protect yourself when buying a used car and get one of these. Even if you use it one time to inspect cars you want to buy, it is cheap insurance protecting you from hidden paint / damage issues.

Muy buena calidad, fácil de calibrar (viene el kit de calibración). Varios modos de medición (incluso hay una en que mide 5 puntos y da el veredicto de como esta una pieza desde el punto A hasta el E). Auto posicionamiento de la pantalla, ya sea horizontal o vertical según se aplica en el material. Veremos duración, hasta el momento excelente compra.
